1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, deposits, and purchases made through Aluxria, including at events such as the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.
These terms are pre-contractual only. A formal building contract compliant with applicable legislation will be issued prior to commencement of any works.
Independent advice: Aluxria recommends customers obtain independent legal and financial advice before placing a deposit. These are significant financial commitments and you have the right to seek advice before proceeding.
2. Product Information
- All cabins, designs, and specifications presented are indicative only and may be subject to engineering or design refinement.
- Final specifications, inclusions, and finishes will be confirmed in the formal contract documentation.
3. Pricing
- Prices displayed at events are valid for the duration of the event unless otherwise stated.
- A $2,000 deposit locks in the advertised price for 3 months from the date of payment.
- Prices may be subject to change after this period if no formal contract is entered.
- All prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
4. Deposits
- A $2,000 deposit is required to secure an order and lock in pricing for 3 months.
- Deposits are non-refundable, except where:
- Aluxria is unable to deliver or install the cabin to the customer's site due to access or feasibility constraints; or
- Required under Australian Consumer Law.
Cancellation within 30 days: Where a customer cancels within 30 days of deposit, and prior to design commencement, the deposit will be refunded less a documented administration fee not exceeding $500. Where design or feasibility work has commenced, the refund will be the deposit less documented costs incurred, up to a maximum of the full deposit amount.
5. Cooling-Off Period
- A cooling-off period of 5 business days applies from the date of deposit.
- This cooling-off right cannot be waived.
- Cancellations within this period may incur administrative costs not exceeding $200.
6. Customisation & Variations
- Any requested changes after order confirmation may affect pricing and extend delivery timelines.
- Variations must be approved in writing and may incur additional costs.
7. Site Requirements
Definition: For the purposes of these terms, "port" means Port Botany (Sydney), being the primary import port currently used by Aluxria. Aluxria will notify customers in writing if this changes prior to delivery.
Supply & Install (Full Service)
- Aluxria will manage and coordinate all site preparation requirements, including access, setup, and installation.
- The quoted price is based on delivery and installation within 250km of Port Botany.
- Locations beyond this distance will incur additional charges, quoted separately.
- The cabin will be installed as a turnkey structure, ready for connection to water, power, and waste/plumbing.
- Connection of services (plumbing and electrical) is not included in the base price but can be quoted separately.
Supply Only (Cabin Only)
- The cabin will be supplied to the closest port.
- From that point, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange transport from port to site, site access and preparation, and installation and setup.
- Aluxria can provide competitive transport pricing (including insurance) to site.
- Where Aluxria arranges transport, the customer remains responsible for ensuring appropriate insurance coverage, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8. Approvals & Compliance
Supply & Install: Aluxria will assist in managing approvals and compliance requirements as part of the project scope.
Supply Only: The customer is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, approvals, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
9. Site Conditions & Access
- Any unforeseen site conditions (including but not limited to access issues, ground conditions, or obstructions) may result in additional costs.
- These costs will be discussed and approved by the customer prior to proceeding.
10. Warranty
- Structural components are covered by a 7-year structural warranty.
- Fixtures, fittings, and appliances are covered by manufacturer warranties in line with standard residential construction.
- Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
- Full warranty details will be provided in the formal contract documentation.
11. Risk & Damage
- Risk transfers to the customer upon practical completion of installation (Supply & Install), or upon collection or delivery to port (Supply Only), unless otherwise agreed.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage from that point onward.
12. Cancellations (After Cooling-Off)
- Orders cancelled after the cooling-off period may result in forfeiture of the deposit and incur additional costs for work already completed.
- Any costs claimed by Aluxria will be documented and itemised.
13. Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, Aluxria is not liable for delays or impacts outside its control.
- Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Event Promotions
- Event-specific promotions apply only to orders placed during the applicable event period.
- Promotions are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
15. Finance
Aluxria does not provide financial advice or credit assistance. Finance partner logos and references displayed on our website and marketing materials are independent businesses. Customers should obtain independent financial advice before proceeding. Aluxria does not hold a credit licence and does not arrange or facilitate credit on behalf of customers.
16. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith for 14 days before commencing any formal proceedings. NSW Fair Trading free mediation services are available to both parties.

17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
These terms are pre-contractual and do not constitute a building contract. Customers are encouraged to seek independent legal advice before entering into any agreement.
